What’s it about?
Throughout the construction of each garment, the aim is to create quality investment pieces designed for everyday wear, incorporating durable fabrics and hand picked linings sourced in the UK when possible and often choosing to use waxed cotton fabric from a fabric mill in the heart of Dundee to create a unique, sustainable and bespoke product which is made to last. Great time and care is spent in expertly sourcing fabrics to ensure quality is never compromised.
Each piece is hand-made with an aim for superior quality and with the option to order a fully customisable coat through the bespoke orders page it means that no two garments are exactly the same. Attention detail is also an integral part the KerrieALDO design ethos.
Since launching the ready to wear menswear and womenswear collections on the website in 2014 KerrieALDO has went from strength to strength and has continued to further expand the range. The collection of dresses, t-shirts and accessories are designed to sit alongside the key outerwear pieces and has seen the brand be stocked in two shops over the last year. A highlight for the brand was being hand selected by an illustrious panel of industry insiders to show at the Scotland RE:Designed showcase at Glasgow’s SWG3 in November 2015 with more exciting plans in the pipeline for 2016. It is worth noting that Kerrie herself handles all elements of the business from design, fabric sourcing and manufacture down to pattern cutting, planning and promotion. This can only highlight these achievements to date.
